Dear colleagues, Registration for the ENOG 16/RIPE NCC Regional Meeting is now open. Join us in Tbilisi to expand your network, share knowledge and meet experts from across the Internet community. ENOG 16 runs from 3-4 June 2019 and is free of charge and open to everyone. Hi everybody, I'd like to let you know that RIPE NCC is organising two events in Sarajevo next week. Member Lunch on 6 November -------------------------- Member lunches aim to get input from our members on how the RIPE NCC can better work to serve their interests. It's also a great opportunity for you to meet your peers in the Internet industry and to discuss issues that affect you all. Members can register for free at: https://www.ripe.net/s/memberlunchsarajevo When: 12:30 - 14:30 Where: The 4 Rooms of Mrs. Safija; Čekaluša 61 University Day on 7 November ---------------------------- You are welcome to join us at the University of Sarajevo without a registration (although please send me an email, so that I keep you in mind). 9:30-12:30 - Introduction to the Internet ecosystem The session will start by asking a simple question of “Who runs the Internet?” and take the attendees through the so called I-star organisations: IETF, RIR, ICANN and others. Then we will talk about DNS infrastructures and Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) and finish by raising some questions about ethics and technoogy. 14:00-17:00 - IPv6 address planning & security This session provides an overview of the most relevant IPv6 address planning & security topics. Attendees will gain insight into industry best practice and a high-level understanding of the most pressing IPv6 security concerns today. Second Albanian Network Operators Meeting - ALNOG2 - Tirana November 14th 2018

Dear SEE Community, I have the pleasure to announce that the second meeting of the Albanian Network Operators, ALNOG2, the first event organized by the Albanian Network Operators Group (www.alnog.al), will take place in Tirana on 14 November 2018, exactly one year after the first Albanian Network Operators Forum (ALNOF). Once again, Albanian Internet operators (technical managers and network engineers) will meet and discuss about Internet infrastructure and interconnection in the region.
