The third RIPE NCC Regional Meeting/South East Europe Meeting (SEE3)
takes places in Sofia, Bulgaria at the Kempinski Hotel Zografski from
14-15 April 2014.
We hope that this meeting will build on the success of SEE1 and SEE2,
which took place in Dubrovnik and in Skopje. These meetings demonstrated
how vibrant the Internet community in the region is, as well as the
knowledge-sharing and network-building benefits to be gained from
meeting as a community.
The SEE3/RIPE NCC Regional Meeting is open to everyone and attendance is
free of charge.

The meeting will cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Implementing IPv6 in your network
- DNS Security
- IXP deployment and IXP development
- RPKI certification of Internet number resources
- Improving routing resiliency

Content at SEE3 will be covered through interactive tutorials,
informative presentations and open discussions. We have invited experts
from throughout the region and around the world to present at SEE3.

Dear colleagues,
Are you an experienced network operator willing to share your expertise
with your peers in South East Europe?
The SEE Programme Committee (PC) is now seeking content proposals from
the community for plenary presentations, panels sessions, workshops and
lightning talks at SEE 3, the third South East Europe/RIPE NCC Regional
Meeting. Proposals are sought on topics including, but not limited to:
- IPv6 deployment
- Managing IPv4 scarcity in operations
- Commercial transactions involving IPv4 addresses
- Data center technologies
- Network and DNS operations
- Internet governance and regulatory practices
- Network and routing security
- Content delivery
- Internet peering and mobile data exchange
- Efforts to establish Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) in the region
- Reports from existing IXPs
- Regional success stories
Workshops/tutorials are 90 minutes and should focus on teaching core
skills and basic knowledge.
Plenary speakers should plan for a 20-minute presentation followed by
five minutes of Q&A.

SEE 3 runs from 14-15 April 2014 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The meeting is open
