New Report: The Role of IXPs in Unlocking Digital Growth in South East Europe

Dear all, We are pleased to announce the publication of our new report, *“Unlocking Digital Growth: The Role of IXPs in South East Europe.”* This research explores how IXPs contribute to strengthening digital infrastructure and connectivity in the SEE region. It examines IXP distribution and governance models, as well as their role in local and regional connectivity. The report also highlights how IXPs strengthen digital ecosystems, improve network performance and resilience, and foster economic development. The report draws on data from the RIPE NCC’s internet measurements using our measurement tools RIPE Atlas and RIS, as well as insights from regional network operators, IXP operators, and global players present in the region.
