Dear Cooperation Working Group colleagues,
During the RIPE Cooperation Working Group session in May, Julf announced
his intention to step down as Co-chair. Following that announcement, we
invited expressions of interest from members of the Working Group. We
received two expressions of interest during the two-week nomination period,
which closed on 11 July.
Both candidates subsequently received expressions of support from members
on this mailing list.
On 14 July, Achilleas also announced that he plans to step down as Co-chair
at the next RIPE Meeting in Sofia in October 2026.
As Achilleas' announcement was made after the original expression of
interest period had closed, the current Co-chairs would like to invite any
additional expressions of interest from members of the Cooperation Working
Group who may wish to be considered for the role, the second Co-Chair seat.
If you are interested in serving as Co-chair, please send a short
introduction to the Co-chairs by 31 July 2026 as the earlier candidates
did:

We encourage anyone with an interest in supporting the Working Group and
the RIPE community to consider putting themselves forward.
After the extended expression of interest period has closed, all candidates
will have an opportunity to introduce themselves to the Working Group
before the selection process moves forward.
