Bad data is not serving any useful purpose, and the suggested criteria for recognizing that "something" is now "bad data" (delegations not working more than 3 months) seems a fairly safe and still effective approach. Looking at my rpki-client and routinator logs, quite some cleanup is needed, so this is indeed a problem visible to relying parties today.
