Hello, since at least today https://stat.ripe.net/app/launchpad seems broken. It shows my IP as being 127.0.0.1 and does an impressive amount of repetitive XHR queries to https://stat-ui.stat.ripe.net/data/network-info/data.json at a rate of over 10 req/s. This only happens if I never logged into my RIPE account in that browser (or using a private tab). Even if not logged in but in possession of an expired session cookie, the site works perfectly fine. Is anyone else experiencing this? Greetings from Wuppertal Max

i know the ncc is in amsterdam. and i used to work at at&t, and they run their network on new jersey time. but, we're network operators. and the ripe community is scattered across many tine zones. o could calls etc. please be announced in UTC not amsterdam local time o could announcement emails please inclide an .ics invite? yes, i missed another call this morning as i had it in uct as opposed to amsterdam local. my bad, of course. but the ncc's parochialism sets me up to make such mistakes. thanks for listening. randy

As part of the result of the IANA Stewardship transition, the IANA Numbering Services Review Committee (IANA RC) was established in 2016. The IANA RC is composed of representatives from each RIR region and advises and assists the RIRs in the review of the IANA Numbering Services. The IANA services are currently provided by Public Technical Identifiers (PTI), which publishes monthly performance reports on the IANA Numbering Services website. Based on these monthly performance reports, the five RIRs have produced the 2024 IANA Performance Matrix Summary Report: https://www.nro.net/2024-iana-performance-matrix-summary-report ---------------------------------------- 30-Day Public Comment Period ---------------------------------------- The IANA RC is now launching a 30-day public comment period to seek comments and input from the community on the IANA numbering services performance and the 2024 IANA Performance Matrix Summary Report. Comments on the IANA service performance should be sent to: iana-performance(a)nro.net The IANA RC will publish an annual report in March 2025 as advice to the NRO EC with its evaluation of the IANA Numbering services. The report will be based on the IANA Performance Matrix Summary Report and on any input gathered from the global number community. The announcement can be viewed at: https://www.nro.net/concluding-the-icp-2-principles-consultation/ ----------------------------------------------------------- Concluding the ICP-2 principles consultation ----------------------------------------------------------- The feedback period for the proposed ICP-2 principles has officially concluded. Close to 300 responses were received from the different Internet communities associated with each Regional Internet Registry (RIR). The breakdown of responses by region is as follows: APNIC (Asia Pacific): 154 (51.7%) AFRINIC (Africa): 55 (18.5%) RIPE NCC (Europe, Middle East and parts of Central Asia): 36 (12.1%) ARIN (North America and the Caribbeans): 32 (10/7%) LACNIC (Latin America and the Caribbean): 20 (6.7%) Not Applicable: 1 (0.3%) The questionnaire was open from 8 October to 6 December 2024. It allowed participants to share their opinions, rate each principle, and provide additional comments. In the coming weeks, the ASO AC / NRO NC will begin qualitative analysis of the responses, which will be shared with the Internet community. This process focuses on reviewing and updating the fundamental principles of ICP-2, a key document that defines the criteria for recognizing and evaluating RIRs. Updating these principles strengthens transparency, governance, and the operations of the RIRs, reaffirming their accountability to the global Internet community. We would like to thank everyone who participated and provided feedback during this critical process. Your contributions are essential to ensuring that these principles reflect the needs and expectations of our community.
