Troubles with registering the probe if assigned by Ambassador
Hi, I'm not sure, but seems that if the probe was initially assigned to ambassador then ambassador assigned to the host the probe in not appearing in host's account. Example 1 Probe F81A674D7482 was assigned to levon.avagyan@gmail.com by me ambassador alex.saroyan@gmail.com. In Ambassador page I see this probe as "Online, not hosted", and host does not see the probe on his account at all. Example 2 Probe A0F3C1C44063 was assigned to surenispiryan@gmail.com again by me ambassador alex.saroyan@gmail.com. He didn't connect the probe yet to network. In Ambassador page I see the probe status "Applied" and host does not see the probe in his account under "my probes" at all. Regards. /Alex
Hi I am seeing issues with probes handed out and registered both by myself and the recipient. They are then showing as online but not hosted. f On 23 May 2013, at 12:41, Alex Saroyan <alexsaroyan@gmail.com> wrote:

See the previous mail -- this means that the host plugged the probe in but haven't registered it yet. Regards, Robert

That means it's plugged in, but the host did not register it yet. He/she will not see the probe in his/her list until then.

This person applied/registered. As long as the MAC+email combination matches what the ambassador said, the process is automatic in about 30 minutes. If they don't match we have to do something manually, so it takes more time. Hope this explains, Robert

Then this goes against what I was told as an Ambassador, that it didn't matter if the addresses were different. ~half of the probes I have handed out will probably be using different addresses. Perhaps the 30 minutes information could be updated to let people know that there may be a difference. Thanks f
Hi Robert, The thing is that i've already registered that probe on my page and received confirmation email from the system. Providing the email I've received below:

Hi, It's possible that we have a bug in the procedure somewhere, though previously we haven't seen evidence of it. We'll check what's going on in these cases and get back to you. Regards, Robert
If you need anything to be tested or redo from our side feel free to ask, we are looking forward to help during the troubleshooting. For me it is more important the bug to be fixed then to solve the particular problem. Also please take into consideration that Alastair Strachan is also working on the case #1087274 regards. /Alex On 05/23/2013 04:42 PM, Robert Kisteleki wrote:

Hi, Actually both my initial examples waited much more then 30 minutes. One case was resolved by Alastair yesterday, why I wrote here now on the mailing list because seems this is global problem. Regards. /Alex On 05/23/2013 04:13 PM, Fearghas McKay wrote:

Hi I now have 7 probes online in the last 24 hours (Thanks Fearghas), none of them show up in the "my probes" section yet they are 10614 10616 10622 10623 10624 10625 the 7th is in a different site so I can't read the ID from here. We are going to configure them with statics and deploy them to places on our network where there are no other probes geographically close. -- Steve Lalonde Chief Technical Officer Entanet International Ltd http://www.enta.net/ On 23 May 2013, at 13:13, Fearghas McKay <fearghas@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi everyone, and thanks for letting us know about all of this. We believe that we've found the problem, but aren't keen on deploying any systemic changes on a Friday afternoon. Instead we'll be posting a fix on Monday, at which point all past and future probe assignments will be fixed. Thanks for your patience.
Hi, I am happy that root cause was found which was more important for me then to solve particular problems. Regards. /Alex On 05/24/2013 07:25 PM, Daniel Quinn wrote:
