Dear members, In October, we will publish the Draft Activity Plan and Budget for 2025 ahead of the Autumn General Meeting. The document outlines our proposed activities for the coming year and how we plan to fund them. It’s a key opportunity for you to read our plans and help shape the direction of our organisation. Once the draft is published, we encourage you to share your feedback on the members-discuss mailing list. We will also host an Open House session where members can ask questions and discuss the draft with me, my team and the Executive Board. Charging Scheme Task Force 2024 Meeting Minutes

Dear RIPE NCC members, The Charging Scheme Task Force held its first meeting on 27 August 2024. The minutes for the meeting are now available at: https://www.ripe.net/cstf-2024/first-meeting-minutes The primary focus of the meeting was to outline the task force’s working methods, establish timelines, and set expectations for the outcomes. Ondřej Filip and Peter Hessler were appointed co-chairs. The task force has decided to hold monthly Zoom meetings and plans to hold a hybrid meeting at RIPE 89 in Prague. Its aim is to deliver a progress report at the Autumn General Meeting 2024 and complete its work by the Spring General Meeting 2025. While meetings will not be recorded, minutes will be taken under Chatham House rules and will be shared with the membership. The next Charging Scheme Task Force meeting is set to take place later this month and we will keep you updated as the task force continues its work. Dear RIPE NCC members, The RIPE NCC Executive Board would like to thank everyone who volunteered for the Charging Scheme Task Force 2024. We were pleased to receive many applications from members with expertise in finance and the Internet market across a broad geographical location. After careful consideration, we have selected the following individuals from the membership to form the Task Force: - Alptekin Sunnetci - Carlos Miguel Queiros Friacas - Ivaylo Josifov - Alex de Joode - Cynthia Revström - Alexandru Doszlop - Pavel Odintsov - Ulf Kieber - Clara Wade - Peter Hessler - Victor Bolaños Guerra - Sébastien Brossier We believe this group reflects the diverse range of experience, background, organisation type, nationalities and knowledge that exists within our membership. They will bring valuable perspectives and expertise to the Task Force, contributing to the development of fair and effective charging scheme principles. The Task Force will hold its first meeting in August/September 2024, and we look forward to their progress and recommendations. Is there some RIPE NCC page where one can see the total number of open tickets as well as how long they have been in the queue? Is there some SLA in regards to initial response to a newly opened ticket? Thanks, Hank
