During those years I have experienced Danko as both a dedicated and very high level professional as wel as a pleasant, approachable, nuanced and resilient person. Danko's professional background and skills encompass both a deep operator experience as well as a wide business and governance experience. As founder and Co-CEO of SezamPro, a pioneering Serbian ISP and RIPE LIR, and former CEO of the Serbian ccTLD registry, he brings firsthand experience of both running internet infrastructure and leading a national registry. Combined with his complex governance experience accrued (among others) during his tenure on the ICANN Board, he would bring a very valuable operator perspective and South-Eastern European representation to the RIPE NCC Executive Board.
