Liman has been involved in the RIPE community for decades and is one of the most respected DNS experts in Europe. He has operated the i‑root server since the early 1990s and has played a major role in building reliable Internet infrastructure through Netnod, his work in ICANN and involvement in IETF. He has a deep understanding of how RIPE NCC works, and a long history of contributing to the community. I believe he would be a great addition to the RIPE NCC Executive Board.
