Hello! TLD administrators under RIPE I am the new TLD administrator for DO. And I am looking forward to implement new policy about the cost that will have the Domain Name Registration under our TLD. So I would like to know what are you doing about that and whish are the main points that you are taking on mind to do so. An important matter about what we are concern is the cost that most have the domain name registration for educational and non-for-fit organizations. Edgar, you may want to have a look at http://www/centr/tld.html which refers you to home pages of the CENTR ccTLDs most of which state their policies. You may also wish to contact Fay Howard <fay.howard at ripe.net> who is busy collecting comparative information about ccTLD policies which is currently being processed to be made available at the above web site. As to educational and non-profit organisations I believe that few CENTR ccTLDs have special policies for this group. I believe this is based on the assumption that the registires are non-profit themselves and that the cost of operations should be divided evenly among their users.
