Although this referencing system has many advantages this is one case where it falls down. There is no real link between the activities of RIPE CENTR and the activities of RIPE NCC. RIPE CENTR will be a project of RIPE NCC. It's funding and the acitivities it will carry out will be separate from those of RIPE NCC. Hope this clarifies things.
