The goal was to demo the concept and then hopefully get the RIPE folks to host the actual servers.
This will require some resources from our sides (buy and set up machines, keep them running). Before we do this, I'd like to hear from people who used the tool if it is useful and something that they think should be added to the standard RIS tools. Henk
Our hardware was limited, right now we are running all 3 sites out of the same physical box. One workaround might be for us to work around this using different DNS names if a lot of people cannot reach those ports.
If other people are facing the same problem please let me know and I can get something setup in our DNS for this.
