Hank,
Strike me as curious, but this seems as if Connexion by Boeing is handing off a /24 from ASN to ASN as a certain plane moves over certain geographic areas. Or is there some other explanation?
That's exactly how they do it. Each plane has a /24, each of the earth-stations has an ASN and as the flight progresses, the prefix moves from ASN to ASN. There were a couple of talks about it by Boeing people last year, but I can't find any slides offhand. However, I guess the service is now being run down? http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/news/2162586/boeing-cans-flight-broadband http://networks.silicon.com/broadband/0,39024661,39161740,00.htm Rob
