[Apologies for duplicate mails] Dear All, RIPE NCC is pleased to announce IPv6 route collection at LINX and VIX: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- As a part of our ambition to comprehensively track IPv6 BGP routing table activity, the Routing Information Service (RIS) now also accepts, in addition to the route collector (RRC03) at AMS-IX, native IPv6 peerings on RRC01 at LINX and RRC05 at VIX. At this stage, we are not yet inserting the collected data into the RIS database (watch this space for announcements of a full IPv6 RIS service), but the raw data of BGP RIBs and BGP Updates containing IPv6 entries will be available at http://data.ris.ripe.net/. If you are a current user of RIS raw data then please be aware that some of these files will soon contain IPv6 entries in addition to the existing IPv4 entries. Some notes on how the RIS approached this issue can be found at URL: http://www.ris.ripe.net/ipv6changes.html. If you are present at the AMS-IX, LINX or VIX and would like to establish an IPv6 peering with the RIS project then please send an email to mailto:rispeering@ripe.net. ----------------------------------------- More information about the RIS can be found at http://www.ripe.net/ris/. Kind regards, The RIS Team ---
