Remote Route Collectors (RRCs) are being used to collect data for the RIS. In 2004, 2 more RRCs were deployed, at the NYIIX (New York, USA) and DECIX (Frankfurt, Germany) while work is in progress to install collectors at the PAIX (Palo Alto, USA) and MIX (Moscow, Russia). This will bring the ^^^ MSK-IX (MIX is Milan)
