for what it's worth, I agree with Matthew and Henk to rename rrc08 when it moves out of MAE WEST. It is the easiest clue to anyone *using* the data that something drastically has changed.

If you DO NOT rename rrc08, *everyone* using the data will have to keep in mind at what day the machine moved from mae to paix. RISreports, historic trends, graphs, will no longer be clear by themselves, as with every oddity seen in rrc08, one will have to check if it is before or after the move date.

Why create that burden when NCC can simply rename to rrc14?

I'd choose to go for rrc14 for all the same reasons. James
