Hi Radoslav, Sorry for the somewhat slow reply.
My names Radoslav Vasilev. I'm working as network administrator for one of the biggest Bulgarian ISP. What I'm interested in is implementing route-collector software, for the bulgarian peering routing (only).
We do have a CD with a script that installs Linux on a machine with Linux and builds a route collector out of it. It contains the O/S, quagga (bgp client), mysql (db), plus supporting software. If you have a suitable machine (we use Dell Poweredge 1750's, but anything that supports Linux should work) then you can use that as a route collector. We can give you a copy of that CD. This is not something we actively support though, so you are on your own here. An occasional question by email would be fine, we can send you updates of software every once in a while, but that is about all the support we can give. I simply don't have the resources to do anything more.
My question is related for the status of BGPlay, and whether we have chance of using it for a graphical representation for the data collected. Thanks for your time in advance.
To get a copy of the software, talk to the Rome guys. Once you have a route collector and DB, this should work though. If you are interested, please send me a postal address for the CD, Henk ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Henk Uijterwaal Email: henk.uijterwaal(at)ripe.net RIPE Network Coordination Centre http://www.amsterdamned.org/~henk P.O.Box 10096 Singel 258 Phone: +31.20.5354414 1001 EB Amsterdam 1016 AB Amsterdam Fax: +31.20.5354445 The Netherlands The Netherlands Mobile: +31.6.55861746 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Process and Procedure are the last hiding place of people without the wit and wisdom to do their job properly.
