Hi Emil, Ris-int, The problem with riswhois is fixed. It turned out the advance creation of (currently empty) directories for october, november and december 2004 RIS BGP dumps triggered a bug in my code. Updated source is in (NP) CVS and halfweg:/home/risops/src/RISwhois.
I have given people in group sudo-np full sudo on RIS Linux hosts weesp, diemen and halfweg. I think this needs to be removed after the problems are fixed, so I will keep the ticket open till then.
I would appreciate if my root privilige on halfweg could stay for somewhat longer; at least until RISwhois has been transferred and SED are comfortable with the code. (post RIPE49 - october 2004?) You can trust me to not misuse the root priviliges, I won't sudo unless there's a problem that needs my attention and will of course not touch anything I'm not responsible for. -- Rene
