Sure, the local resolver is 204.152.184.67, and you can use clock.isc.org to sync your clock using ntp.

No, you can use the same NIC for both IPv4 and IPv6. (we do it here all the time) We have started to go away from the standard EUI64 addressing for IPv6, so if you are running FreeBSD on that box, I can give you instructions on how to set the link local address so we can still use normal router advertisements to apply the prefix to it.
