Any comment is nothing more than welcome. Arife -- Bi-weekly RIS meeting - 6 Sep, 2004 10.00am. Attendees: Arife, Shane, Henk, Bruce, James, Gerard. - abcoude decommission abcoude will continue to run until it will be replaced by new hardware. Ordering new hardware will be done around Nov. - RIS presentation @R49 Matthew will give an update @R49. Shane, Henk, Ruud and Matthew will get together to discuss details next week. Most probably Tuesday. Ziya will help Matthew during the demo at R49. - Status of RRC14 and RRC13 RRC14 is installed, but it's not network reachable. Arife is in contact with Peter Losher to put online this week. RRC13, Bruce waits IP config from Elena. When he gets those info, he will burn the CD and deliver CD to Elena during the RIPE meeting. - Documentation Kevin did some work on SED side to move RIS documents from NP pages. Arife will look at and bit tidy up the pages. James and Bruce will prepare the OPS part of doc, and both would be ready on Wed. There would be cross link from both pages to each other. - rsync schema It's finished. How to update files on RRCs will be documented by OPS. - RIS CGI Arife and Ziya built up the frame work to build up RIS CGI by using Mason and Perl. Arife started to coding from ASinuse. After ASinuse is finished, probably today. Tomorrow, Ziya and Arife will create the package and will do the server installation and WEB interface modules on halfweg. After that point, the rest of the CGI's will be built up by using the same structure. - Beacons Henk had some talk with Olaf Maneal and Zhuoqing Morley Mao during SIGCOM. They asked to continue to announce Beacon Prefixes as we do now and announce additional Anchor prefixes per RRCs. To do this, we would need more Prefix. Henk will send an e-mail around what he discussed during SIGCOM and SED will take it from there. - AOB Gerard brought up the issue which users should stay on RIS servers. NP people would keep their users on RIS servers, but they will not have root access.
