Hi guys, halfweg will be down for maintenance in half an hour. one of the disk is making noises. Emil will look at it. I directed to RIS services to weesp. weesp will continue to answer user request during the downtime. Only, BGPlay is not running on weesp, I put a temporary message on the page saying service will not available for a while. Arife

Hi Arife, halfweg is up, and the noise is gone. It really came from the fan in the enclosure of sde & sdf (holding md1 / risfsa16). Boot up took very long because of fsck, but fortunately no errors seen. Please check that halfweg is healthy, and let me know if this ticket can be closed. Cheers, E m i l .

RIS Meeting on Monday

Hi guys, I will be off Monday. If you like to have any urgent agenda item, please go and have the meeting. Quick update from my side: - RRC14 is online, first peering with ISC is up. Also got IPv6 address. I like to finish up RIS web page update and do announcement next week. - RIS CGI re-implementation, I'm working on it. ASInuse re-writing is finished with all tests, and we will do the prototype installation next week on halfweg. I will continue to work on the other CGIs. BTW, James, if you could send a quick update about Beacon change and RRC13, that would be great. Regards. Arife

Please > configure rrc14.ripe.net as PTR. i'll ask the paix people to make that change. by the way, this address was once first used by cix.net. > BTW, can we configure a session with ISC? i can only imagine that if you send mail to peering(a)isc.org they will say "yes". isc is very open in its peering. however, i'm not the right person, and joao's team who does this work has a process they like to follow.
