I wonder how we could leverage some of that technology in order to
keep update storms under control.
an idea would be to apply this to the data after a certain retention
period. the philosophy behind it would be that directly after the
event you are interested in the full resolution of all data, but
later on you only would care about a summary about the cause. raw
data should be still available for research though.
