I think it would be great if we could get on the agenda of the upcoming Interpol-Europol meeting in Singapore. Firstly, i wont be in Panama for the next ICANN meeting, just in case you didn't see me and thought i was avoiding you all ;-) Secondly, it looks like i will not be able to attend the Interpol - Europol meeting, am heavily involved in the preparation for the ITU PP in October and the week of the Interpol - Europol conference, i need to be at another meeting for this. Hi Leslie, Richard I will not be attending ICANN in Panama, but I intend to attend the INTERPOL-Europol conference meeting in Singapore. There is also an annual conference in Korea (International Symposium on Cybercrime Response) that I will attend towards the end of August. (http://iscr.cyber.go.kr/). At APNIC, our LEA capacity building program is progressing well. We have just completed another round of training (second one this year) in the Pacific, for the LEAs in the Pacific. This event was recently held in Fiji, and jointly organised with INTERPOL and the Australian Federal Police. Separately, APNIC Foundation has also received a grant for delivering more capacity building activities for the LEAs in the Pacific, which will be delivered by APNIC (probably in conjunction with INTERPOL and AFP again) over the next 12 months. This program is in addition to our regular program of delivery of capacity building training for LEAs in our region. I hope this helps. Hi All, Thanks for the updates, looks like we are all pretty busy in our regions, which is excellent news. If possible at the Barcelona meeting, as i assume that will probably be the next time that we are all together, i think it would be good if we had a proper meeting for a couple of hours or so. I believe it would be good to share our experiences when we are dealing with the LE community, ID common threads/synergies, training material, and messaging etc. Could you confirm that you will be attending Barcelona and if so, ill start pulling this together. One aspect I would like to explore is to have some presence in the regional meetings Interpol’s regional bureaus organize. We have already been to two of them but that it’s something I’d like to do on a regular basis.

I don’t know how to be “in the loop” for this, we usually get very late notices of these workshops.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
