It is. As all of our mirrors get their stream from this server, and thus problems with that server do affect all of our downstreams.
Also, when trying to view the stream over IPv6 with mplayer on Linux, I get
Adding an IPv6 stack to the machine was the only thing that changed since RIPE 46. Under test conditions, it seemed to have behaved as expected, but unfortunately under operating conditions it seems to fail, and cause problems for the machine's IPv4 streaming.
Accordingly, we are going to remove the IPv6 stack during the next break (10:30 - 11:00 today, GMT+0100) which will hopefully bring back reliability to the external streams. Unfortunately, we won't have any IPv6 streaming from the office (but you can still get your IPv6 streaming fix from CESNET: mms://server6.streaming.cesnet.cz/ripemtg) as a consequence.
