The RIPE 57 Meeting in Dubai, UAE takes place from 26 - 30 Oct, and
as usual we will be webcasting the event.
As for previous meetings, we will provide a Windows Media stream at the
following locations:
mms://webcast.ripe.net/ripemtg Audio and Video of sessions in
the main room
mms://webcast.ripe.net/ripemtg-audio1 Audio only of sessions in
the side room
These streams are viewable in Windows Media Player as well as
applications on other major platforms.
For RIPE 57 we will also provide a QuickTime (MPEG-4) stream
of sessions in the main room at the following location:
rtsp://qtstreamer.ripemtg.ripe.net/ripemtg.sdp
This stream is viewable in QuickTime Player and the latest versions
(with H.264 support) of applications such as VLC for other platforms
If you would be willing to be a mirror of one or more of these streams
then please let me know as soon as possible and provide the following
information:
* IP address of your server (so we can open up filters if necessary)
* Which stream(s)
* URL(s) of the mirrored stream(s)
* IPv4 or IPv6
We will be setting up the RIPE Meeting network in Dubai on Thursday,
Friday and Saturday and will provide a test stream from as early as
possible during this period.
