Speaker Biographies Kimberly Lorencic is a Senior Analyst for the Yankee Group's Data Communications Research Group. Her research specialty is in the LAN/WAN internetworking and Internet marketplace, specifically routers, high speed LAN technologies, Internet Service Provider infrastructure evolution and security issues related to the Internet. Prior to joining the Yankee Group, Ms. Lorencic was a Competitive Analyst for Wellfleet/Bay Networks with responsibiblity for tracking more than 80 vendors in the router market and producing competitive positioning reports for use by Bay's internal and external organizations. Before joining Bay Netwroks, she held product marketing, industry marketing and marketing communications positions at Digital Equipment Corporation. Ms. Lorencic holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from National College in Rapid City, South Dakota.
