Interestingly, both countries once were X.25 addicts where IP was a curse... :-) one the other hand it seems they are pursuing to get rid of the "trouble enhancement layer" that in less fortunate parts of the continent is still considered a conditio sine qua non :-(

Gee Ruediger, pray tell us, now where might this less fortunate place be ? No - don't bother - I think I might just know offhand. Interestingly it is now more technically possible and financially sound to use ISDN in the "place" mentioned than X.25 but anyway, I wander. Regards, Dave
