Dear all, Here is the hostcount for September 1997. The table shows an increase since last month of over 160,000 (or 3.3%) to a total of over 5,000,000 (!) hosts in the DNS in Europe and surrounding areas. Over the last Quarter we saw an increase of almost 4000,000 hosts (or 8.0%). FI shows the highest increase for September with more than 50,000 hosts more than in August (when it showed a decrease of more than 17,000 hosts after a significant increase in July). DE shows a decrease of over 15,000 hosts. This is mainly due to a single zone that contains more than 32,000 hosts but has only one nameserver.
