Regards, Kevin Meynell ---- Application for NATO Advanced Networking Workshop - Promoting High-Speed Networks 18-22 May 1998 Introduction ------------ TERENA is once again organising a NATO Advanced Networking Workshop following the success of previous events in Budapest and Edinburgh. This year's workshop will be held on the 18th to 22nd May 1998 in Kaunas, Lithuania, with a theme of 'Promoting High-Speed Networks'. The workshop is aimed at those who are currently running national networks services, but who will, in the near future, be moving to newer technologies. Content will be practical and technology-oriented, but will also cover the network management and application-level issues that arise with the newer technology. The event will be a single-track workshop with classroom-style lectures complemented by hands-on technical sessions. For more details about the workshop, please see: http://www.terena.nl/conf/nato-anw98/ TERENA is grateful to Bay Networks Inc. for providing equipment and personnel that make this workshop possible. ------8<------8<------8<------ cut here ------8<------8<------8<------ APPLICATION =========== Please complete *all* sections as fully as possible and return to: nato-anw98@terena.nl Any additional information should be appended in plain text format. 1.
