As far as I can tell, the changes are only listed in Danish. Would it be possible to provide an inofficial summary in English for those who don't speak Danish?
Oops... I haven't even read it myself.. I've just been busy adapting my scripts to the new rules :-) I'll ask someone to put something up soon in English as well. The inofficial summary is that any names are now allowed, just as in the .com domain (that I don't like this myself, is another thing but I don't make the rules (anymore :-)). The old rules didn't allow for private persons to have their own domain. That restriction is now gone. At present only members of the association of ISP's (Foreningen af InternetLeverandører - FIL) can register names, so if you need a domain in Denmark, you'll have to go through one of those. (DKnet is one of them, I don't know if there's a public list available - would be pretty handy if there was! I'll suggest that). Name disputes will be solved by a Danish court of law. DK Hostmaster (DKnet) only runs a unique name database etc etc along the lines of InterNIC rules. -- Robert Martin-Legène (RM59), Network Manager (AS2109) main(){int a[2];pipe(a);dup2(a[0],0);dup2(a[1],1);write(1,"R",1); execl("/bin/cat","cat",0);}
