LACNIC Reaches Last /10
Dear colleagues, Yesterday, LACNIC announced that they reached their last /10 of IPv4 address space and have entered their IPv4 exhaustion phase. Addresses from this block will be distributed at a greatly reduced rate, according to policies established by the LACNIC community. You can find the announcement here: http://www.lacnic.net/en/web/anuncios/2014-no-hay-mas-direcciones-ipv4-en-la... This latest news from LACNIC highlights again the need for the timely deployment of IPv6. The RIPE NCC encourages all organisations to become IPv6 enabled. To find more information, advice from experts and where to get training, please see: www.IPv6actnow.org Kind regards Andrew de la Haye Chief Operations Officer RIPE NCC
