Hans, all, congratulations to the RIPE NCC and all involved in the RIPE community on hosting RIPE 80 virtually. It seemed like a success overall and certainly to me. I think the prudent decision for any meeting for the rest of 2020 is to just bite the bullet, remove the doubt and go virtual again. Then reassess for 2021. Lastly, with all due respect to Niall and no actual knowledge of Zoom's network: I imagine Zoom is undergoing unprecedented hockey-stick growth after seemingly becoming the defacto virtual communications platform in our new Covid-19 world. Speaking with my network engineer hat on, please don't badger them right now with "you must support IPv6". Let's put it on the list for 2021, they have enough on their plates right now. And I say this as a long-time strong and vocal IPv6 advocate. - Barry Niall O'Reilly wrote on 28/05/2020 16:07:

If the decision is for another all-virtual RIPE meeting, I'ld appreciate it if the otherwise excellent service provider were pressed to make their service available over IPv6.
