my uneducated guess: some announcements which should have been marked invalid will have been marked notfound. so drop-invalid enforces, of which there are more and more, will have allowd those announcements through. unfortunate routing would only occur if one of those falsely notfound prefixes grabbed precedence over a legitimate announcement. i.e. there would be an attack window. randy
