RIPE NCC distributes the members update inside the email body, an example is here: https://mailman.ripe.net/archives/list/ncc-announce@ripe.net/thread/XXQIXYSO... To me RIPE NCC's approach for disseminating information seems more productive than the current approach.
I don't mind if there is a link in the email "click here to read the report on the web!"...
