Hi, I recently reviewed my notes from the last RIPE meeting (Berlin), and one of the items on the plenary agenda was "EU and regulation". Apparently someone from the EU commission had taken an initiative where it was said "... investigate all the problems of the european Internet with the possibility for regulation ... " Needless to say, that didn't get much support at the RIPE meeting, and as far as I remember someone (including the RIPE chairman(?)) would get in touch with the relevant people from the commission and arrange an informal meeting with the intention to exchange information (both ways) concerning this. Has there been any progress on this item, and if so, what was the outcome? Does this at all have something to do with the message Lubos Elias sent to the RIPE mailing list on May 27th? Regards, - Håvard
