Dear colleagues, The RIPE 67 Meeting concluded in Athens on Friday, 18 October, and we would like to thank all members of the RIPE community who helped to make it a great success. There were 471 people in attendance, many of whom presented or actively engaged in discussions, and many more participated remotely via the webcast and chat facility. Your involvement helped ensure another vibrant RIPE Meeting. If you were unable to keep track of events in Athens, there are a number of ways you can catch up with what happened. At the closing plenary, Rob Blokzijl announced that after 25 years he would be stepping down as RIPE Chair at the end of the RIPE 68 Meeting in Warsaw. He also announced the appointment of Hans Petter Holen as Deputy RIPE Chair, and that Hans Petter would become Chair at the end of RIPE 68. We hope you join us in offering best wishes to Rob and Hans Petter as they work together to ensure a smooth hand-over of responsibilities in the months ahead.
