RIPE NCC Report: Sapphire/SQL Slammer Worm Impact

Dear Colleagues, On the morning of 25 January 2003, the Sapphire worm (aka "SQL slammer") was released on the Internet. The RIPE NCC monitored the activity through its various projects that examine elements of the key infrastructure of the Internet on a 24/7 basis. Data collected during this period has now been analysed and compiled in a report by RIPE NCC staff.
