The house has a rich history, dating from 1671, and is furnished in the original style of the time. The master painter Ferdinand Bol was the first occupant, and later it was occupied by the van Loon family, who still live in part of the house today. The largest part however, is used as a museum. Before the dinner there will be a guided tour of the house, which is situated in the heart of Amsterdam on one of the most beautiful canals.
