Dear folks, Please find below the RIPE DNS hoctcount for October 1993. - we have reached 500,000 hosts in the DNS in Europe, this means that the number of hosts in the DNS in Europe has doubled in exactly 1 year (254,000 in October 1992) - Germany is the first European country to reach 100,000, they doubled the number of hosts in 13 months (52,000 in Sep 1992) - some countries went down after initial count; they have been recounted (in order to reach 500,000 ;-) - Macedonia (MK) has been left out of this count (sorry, forgot), but will be included in the next one.
