This message is sent on behalf of the Number Resource Organization (NRO) ---- More information can be found on the ASO AC website: https://aso.icann.org/icann-board/icann-board-elections/2022-icann-board-of… ---- On 15 September 2021, the Address Supporting Organization Address Council (ASO AC) issued a call for nominations for Seat 10 of the ICANN Board of Directors. Nominations are being accepted until 1 December 2021. The selected candidate will serve for a three-year term, which will begin at the conclusion of the ICANN Annual General Assembly at the ICANN 75 Meeting, scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in September 2022. If you are considering nominating someone or yourself, please do not wait until the end of the nomination phase. Nominees will need time to sign and return an attestation document certifying they are of good character before the end of the nomination period. Failure to meet the deadline will make nominees ineligible for consideration by the ASO AC Qualification Review Committee. ------------------------ Eligibility Requirements ------------------------ All nominated candidates must meet the selection criteria and conflict of interest requirements as outlined in Article 7 of the ICANN Bylaws. The nominated candidates will undergo a due diligence review by an independent ICANN contractor. ------------------ Nomination Process ------------------ Community members are invited to submit nominations by email to <nominations(a)aso.icann.org> by Wednesday, 1 December 2021 at 23:59 UTC. Nominations must include the following information: - The full name of the person being nominated - Contact email address of the person being nominated - Contact telephone number of the person being nominated - The full name of the person making the nomination - Contact email address for the person making the nomination - Contact telephone number of the person making the nomination ------------------ Regional Restrictions --------------------- The ICANN Bylaws state that the Directors selected by a Supporting Organization (SO) for its assigned Board seat(s) cannot reside in the same geographic region (see Section 7.2:c). RIPE Programme Committee Elections @ RIPE 83

Dear Friends and Colleagues, The RIPE Programme Committee is responsible for recruiting and selecting presentations for the RIPE Meeting Plenary sessions. As the term of two RIPE PC members end, we are looking for new members in Autumn 2021 who will be elected by the RIPE community at RIPE 83. There are currently two seats up for election to the RIPE PC. Please send nominations, with a biography, statement of interest and photograph, to pc(a)ripe.net . The Charter of the RIPE Programme Committee ( https://www.ripe.net/ripe/docs/ripe-pc-charter) provides more information about the composition and roles of the RIPE PC. Nominations for the RIPE 83 PC elections can be sent in from today, Tuesday 9th November, until Tuesday November 23rd, 15:30 CET (UTC +1). We will announce the PC elections at the RIPE meeting opening sessions, but interested parties can nominate themselves from now. We will close candidate nominations on Tuesday 23rd at 15:30 CET and publish the biographies on the RIPE Meeting web site. The RIPE PC online voting system will be open from Tuesday November 23rd, 16:00 CET until Thursday November 25th, 17:00 CET, for the community members to cast their votes. The total voting numbers may be public. More information will also be available at https://ripe83.ripe.net/programme/ripe-pc/become-a-member/ The official announcement of the elected RIPE PC members will be on Friday Morning 26th November, at the start of the 11:30 CET closing plenary session. RIPE Database Requirements Task Force: Final Draft Published

Dear Colleagues, We have now published the final draft of the RIPE Database Requirements Task Force: https://www.ripe.net/participate/ripe/tf/rdb-requirements-tf/requirements-f… This version takes into account the feedback received from the community on our intermediate draft published in July. Thank you all for providing feedback. Here are the main changes/additions; - Added a word about ENUM and geolocation - Added a section to explain the document structure - Clarified when the historical data was first added to the RIPE Database and when it was made available to users - Rephrased the research purpose and added a separate section Please note that each recommendation will be considered separately by the community and the relevant working groups. Reminder: NRO NC Call for Nominations

Dear colleagues, This is a reminder that the call for nominations from the RIPE NCC service region to fill one seat on the Number Resource Organization (NRO) Number Council (NC) is open. The three-year term of Nurani Nimpuno ends on 31 December 2021. The election for this NRO NC seat will take place during the RIPE 83 meeting that will be held virtually from 22-26 November 2021. All members of the Internet community who are attending the RIPE Meeting (except Regional Internet Registry staff members) may vote in the election. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, 27 October 2021. Any individual residing within the RIPE NCC service region is eligible for nomination, except Regional Internet Registry (RIR) staff members. Self-nominations are permitted. The nomination process is available at: https://www.ripe.net/nov-2021/nro-nc-nomination-process Please send your nominations to <nominations(a)ripe.net> by 23:59 UTC on 27 October 2021.
