The restaurant serves Indonesian food and is located in the center of Amsterdam close to the 'Leidseplein'. If you want to attend this dinner, please would you complete the form below and we will make the reservation for you. Please note that it will NOT be possible to attend the dinner without first making a reservation. Please could those of you who provide IP services in CEE answer the following questions : 1. price of an e-mail subscription (per month, average) 2. price of a dial-up IP connection (per month, average) 3. price of a low speed (9.6) permanent IP connection (per month) 4. price of a 64 Kbit digital line from you to Amsterdam (per month) Please give me prices in dollars, no need to be exact. Your answers will never be directly published, nor will the source of the information be disclosed. They will only serve for comparisons in my study. There are too many A records to fit in one udp packet. Apparently you are using a DNS query tool which cannot handle this properly. For a more robust tool, I recommend contrib/host from the BIND distribution (for the latest version fetch ftp://ftp.nikhef.nl/pub/network/host.tar.Z) -- Eric Wassenaar

We are seeing the same problem with E.ROOT-SERVERS.NET's address. Even worse, I have the suspicion that bad DNS behaviour here(very frequent broadcasting of DNS requests) are caused by this. This is a bind problem too of course. We run the "patched" Solaris 2.4 bind. One of the affected machines run's the 2.3 bind. Same problem. Anyone else seeing broadcasted DNS requests when they have this bad data? Hans van Staveren

Dear all, there seems to be a DNS problem regarding the root name servers. We (that means the ch top-level DNS server) has picked up several times now a false A record for E.ROOT-SERVERS.NET. The address picked up is binary zero. A restart only helps for a short time. Other top-level DNS servers contain the false entry as well.
