[Apologies for duplicate e-mails] Dear Colleagues, There is still time to register for the RIPE NCC Regional Meeting taking place in Doha, Qatar, on 17-18 January 2006. This Regional Meeting is specifically designed to provide participants with a forum to discuss topics related to IP networking in the Middle East region. The draft meeting agenda is available at: http://www.ripe.net/meetings/regional/qatar-2006/agenda.html RIPE NCC IP RESOURCE ANALYSTS During the meeting, RIPE NCC IP Resource Analysts will be available for members to discuss issues relating to their business face-to-face with RIPE NCC staff. For more information, or to schedule an appointment with one of the RIPE NCC IP Resource Analysts, please see: http://www.ripe.net/meetings/regional/qatar-2006/ip-resource-analysts.html SEMINARS All meeting attendees are also invited to attend the two RIPE NCC seminars, the DNSSEC Seminar and the Routing Registry Seminar. Both seminars will take place on Tuesday 18 January, from 14:00. - The DNSSEC Seminar outlines the features of DNSSEC and related tools and to introduce the relevant RIPE NCC services. - The Routing Registry (RR) Seminar aims to teach the features of Routing Registry and related tools, introduce the relevant RIPE NCC services and explain the basics of Routing Policy Specification Language (RPSL). REGISTRATION If you have not yet registered for the RIPE NCC Regional Meeting in Doha, Qatar, please register at: www.ripe.net/qatar2006/register Attendance to the RIPE NCC Regional Meeting is open and free of charge. However, attendees are responsible for covering their own travel and accommodation costs. Registration will close on Friday, 13 January 2006. [Apologies for duplicate e-mails] Dear Colleagues, A revised agenda for the RIPE NCC Regional Meeting in Doha, Qatar (17 - 18 January 2006), is now available at: http://www.ripe.net/meetings/regional/qatar-2006/agenda.html This meeting is specifically designed to provide participants with a forum to discuss topics related to IP networking in the region. Topics on the agenda include: - A review of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and the way forward - IPv4 exhaustion and IPv6 consumption - Site Multihoming by IPv6 Intermediation (Shim6) - Internet security and new developments in Internet routing - The RIPE Policy Development Process (PDP) - RIPE NCC training seminars on Routing Registry and DNSSEC. The meeting will also feature demonstrations of services such as the Routing Information Service (RIS), BGPlay and Test Traffic Measurements (TTM) that help users analyse network behaviour.
