Dear colleagues, I'm pleased to announce the winners of our latest RIPE Labs article competition. First prize goes to Sebastian Kappes for his article, 'When Traceroutes Lie: How TTL Jumps Can Give Us a False Impression of the Internet’s Topology', which looks at how manipulated TTL values can distort the network topology we think we see in traceroute measurements. Runner-up prize goes to Matthias Wichtlhuber and colleagues for 'The IRR Landscape: What RPKI Can Replace', the third and final part in their series on the IRR landscape, examining which parts of the IRR ecosystem can already be replaced by RPKI – and which still cannot.
