Hello, The RIPE mailing lists have been an essential part of the work of the RIPE community for more than 30 years and are still being widely used. All the policies that determine how the Internet works in our region, and all the decisions that have shaped how this community operates, have in one way or another been discussed on these lists. Given their importance, we thought it might be interesting to dive into the mailing list archives and put together an analysis of participation through the years. Hi Hank, Yes, I did consider the privacy aspect and it is public data. However, I wouldn’t want to use the fact that I collected the data to name people or their contact details. The purpose of the analysis was to explore the mailing lists themselves rather than highlight individuals who have contributed over the years. I feel that is out of scope for what I wanted to show.
