Perhaps that will be forthcoming, per my request and Noah’s? The RIRs are providing administrative support to the NRO NC (aka ASO AC) for the ICP-2 Update effort. I am not personally aware of the input from those in the African Internet community, but what I can discern there has certainly been opportunity for such – Between October and December 2024, 55 responses (about 18.5% of the total) to the global questionnaire came from the AFRINIC region. Two AFRINIC-specific webinars were held in October 2024 and May 2025, with multilingual access provided. The draft governance document was published in April 2025, with comments accepted through May 27. AFRINIC stakeholders were invited to participate throughout. (Full details at the ICP-2 Update process Community Engagement page - https://www.nro.net/policy/internet-coordination-policy-2/community-engageme... ) At the end of the day, all the ASO AC can do is provide a process for community participation and make people aware of that process – it is ultimately up to community members to participate to make their voices heard. Thanks, /John John Curran President and CEO American Registry for Internet Numbers p.s. Noah - It does appear that there’s only a handful comments in the AFRINIC ICP2-Review Mailing List archives; are you suggesting that this mailing list was not working during the review period for the draft governance document, or does it simply reflect low participation?
