Consultation on the Second Draft of the “Governance Document for the Recognition, Operation, and Derecognition of Regional Internet Registries” was launched August 28th.
To make your reading and analysis easier, we’ve prepared a redline/deltas/diffs document showing the precise textual changes that were made between version 1 of
the RIR Governance Document (published on or about 14 April 2025) and version 2 of the document. It can be found here:

Deleted text is displayed in red strikethrough formatting, and added text is displayed in blue underlined formatting.
We also aim to publish a separate document shortly that summarizes and provides rationales for the major differences between the two versions.
