Http Measurements
Hi, I'm preparing some measurements for our project because we plan to migrate one big site from CDN. I saw in documentation that Atlas support HTTP measurements but not for all users by default. How can I request this feature ? We will have ping and traceroute measurements but HTTP reponses would be great to compare what impact migration will have. Thank you for help -- Robert

As far as I know, HTTP measurements are off for users because of the risk of using Atlas for dDoS (a single request can trigger a lot of work on the server, unlike ICMP echo requests) and the legal/political risk for the probe hosters if some user wants to test <http://www.hotdicks.com/> and the hoster happens to live in Saudi Arabia.
How can I request this feature ?
I believe you have to ask directly the RIPE NCC <atlas@ripe.net>.
