Possible reasons behind a failed measurement

Dear list, I recently launched a ping measurement that selects 50 anchors worldwide for a period of 24 hours, id 2439518. The measurement failed with no probe allocated to it. Do you have any clue on the possible reasons for that? One of my guesses is that anchors are highly demanded and non of them were available during the measurement window. I’d love to hear you thinkings on this matter. Many thanks for your attention. Best regards, Wenqin Shao ---- Ph.D candidate Telecom ParisTech

Hi, from what I see in our database you have specified as excluded tags "IPv6 Works" and " IPv6 Doesn't Work", which are mutually excluded :) Besides that, anchors are IPv6 capable so these leaves you with 0 anchros. I guess if you create a new measurement without specifying ""IPv6 Works" in the exclusion tags you will get the anchors you want. Hi Andreas, Thank you very much for looking into my case. It was exactly what you've explained. I launched new measurements without “IPv6 doesn’t work” tag. And now everything is just right. Again many thanks for your timely help and accurate indications. Best regards, Wenqin

Hi, As a follow-up: we made a note to ourselves to expose more of these details in the UI. Regards, Robert
