I have installed a probe (/14226) at a rural fixed wireless location which has had intermittent issues from the carrier (AT&T). I got the tag about a DNS issue (Doesn't Resolve A, DNS Problem Suspected). Is it possible to get logs for when the DNS issue happened so I can take it up with the carrier? Also, when does the DNS problem tage clear? Thanks!
Hi, There is a short description about how these tags are applied at https://atlas.ripe.net/docs/probe-tags/ "DNS resolution" section. Basically, the system looks at results of DNS measurements delivered by the probe and applies/removes tags based on how successful those were. I believe this is done daily, perhaps more often. We are reworking the documentation so I'll make a note to add more details on how this exactly work. I'll reach out to you privately about what may be going on on your probe. Hi, To add to Robert's previous message: DNS tags are updated every 4 hours as are tags that rely on Ping results. The other tags are updated every hour. Cheers, Johan On 27/06/2022 10:01, Robert Kisteleki wrote:
